Fifty years in, Amy brings the kind of perspective that only comes from experience: years spent in classrooms, community spaces and public-facing work where listening matters, decisions carry weight and civility isn't optional. That lived experience has shaped her judgment, steadiness, and readiness to serve.
This evening is both a celebration and a show of support for leadership grounded in authenticity, integrity, and accountability. Expect good company, good conversation, and a good roast -- in a room full of people who believe local government works best when it’s thoughtful and well-led.
Amy is making government and civics cool again. And right on time! A former high school social studies teacher, no one is more prepared to clearly explain what is happening in our county -- so folks can understand the impact of the fallout from the federal level -- and make the best decisions for themselves.
